Maternity underwear for the modern woman

Over the last few years there has been a revolution in lingerie. Gone are the days of little choice, boring styles and a lack of color. Pantyhose or tights, while perhaps not the most glamorous of maternity underwear, serve an important function. They are designed to be supportive to tired and sore legs and increase the circulation. They also help relieve swelling and mild varicose veins, a common problem during pregnancy. As well as all that they support your tummy with a wide stretchy waistband. Thankfully, unlike in your mom’s day, they come in durable but sheer fabrics, often with added Lycra for comfort.

So, just because you’re pregnant, it doesn’t mean you have to give up your favorite kinds of lingerie. With today’s sexy maternity underwear, you’re sure to find something that suits your style.
